More right than wrong for the Saints, and a B- to prove it.

The tape said wait; the Saints did not. Dayon Hayes went at the 128th overall pick, a good 134 picks before the board was ready. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Landing Lindenberg that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
