The Commanders bet the future on Daniels. The board says A-.

Start where it matters. The Commanders took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Landing Magee that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while interior defensive lineman went begging. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
