Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B

The Seahawks cashed the board's mistake on Reese: B. For all the boxes ticked, the Seahawks skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was.
They banked enough surplus on Reese to cover a lot of smaller sins. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In pick 32 they get the heartbeat of the defense at a price that makes it sweeter. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick64
Rnd2
Germie Bernard
A reasonable price with a little left over, Germie Bernard in the 64th overall pick. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick96
Rnd3
Julian Neal
They let Julian Neal come to them and pounced at the Round 3 slot. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
