Everything else got attention, and tight end got none. That is a strange way for the Saints to leave a draft. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If Parker pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. On value alone, Casey makes the weekend a net positive. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
