The Packers let Williams fall into their laps, and walked away with a D-. The Packers put a flag in the ground for Torricelli Simpkins III, 37 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Williams pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
