You build a draft on nights like this. Jalon Walker had no business being available in No. 132, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
