The Bears clearly saw something nobody else did in Jake Majors, taking him 35 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Grant at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
