Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Connor Lew got past him. The Vikings do not have to explain a thing at the Round 3 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Singleton pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
