Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Bears spent pick No. 211 on Dayon Hayes, a name most had 85 spots down the list. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

On value alone, Skattebo makes the weekend a net positive. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
