The Panthers fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

Nobody else had Braelon Allen anywhere near slot 102. The Panthers did, by 49 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That Sainristil pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
