Draft Grade — Falcons
Overall

FutureD
The Falcons let Williams fall and pounced. Final grade: D-. Somebody took the Falcons to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.
The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Getting Williams where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
Adding Myles Garrett by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
Pick Analysis
Pick33
Rnd2
Jihaad Campbell
Jihaad Campbell in pick 33 is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick73
Rnd3
Tyleik Williams
Somehow Tyleik Williams was still sitting there in slot 73, and they pounced on premier interior defensive lineman value. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick116
Rnd4
Kevin Winston Jr.
The board fumbled Kevin Winston Jr. all the way to the 116th pick, and they scooped it up. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
