A costly weekend of dealing drags the 49ers to a D-.

The 49ers spent real capital to be 57 picks early on Trajan Jeffcoat, and the board is going to hold them to it.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Jones pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Latham pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
