Somebody took the Chargers to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

Toviano at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If Benny pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
