You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Panthers did exactly that with Khalid Duke in Round 7, Pick 20.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
