The steal of the weekend belongs to the Falcons and Slaughter: B.

Call it larceny. Jake Slaughter sat on the board until pick 83, and the Falcons did not need to be asked twice. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
