After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Giants committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They are betting Watson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Donovan Wilson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
