Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Myles Harden got past him. The Cowboys do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 244.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. Walker has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
