You build a draft on nights like this. Adonai Mitchell had no business being available in the Round 2 slot, and the Panthers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Reaching for Bell left real value on the table behind him. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
