The Chargers did not so much draft Mason Taylor as overpay for him, 23 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Landing Dike that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
