A respectable, level-headed haul for the Buccaneers: B-.

Of all the ways to open, the Buccaneers chose the head-scratcher, spending slot 86 on Barrett Carter with interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots still wide open. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Mukuba pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
