Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The 49ers never addressed running back, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
