The Cardinals finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Cardinals spent their marquee pick on Michael Penix Jr., and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
