You could see the war room lean forward. Isaiah Bond at slot 85 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Horsley lower, and that gap is the story. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
