You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Steelers spent the 98th overall pick on Blake Fisher while interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots sat unaddressed. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

They will need Fisher to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. However the rest shakes out, Sainristil at that price is a win they earned.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

So much rides on Jackson Powers-Johnson that the real verdict is a season or two away.
