The Chiefs cashed the board's mistake on Mafah: B-.

The Chiefs spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Phil Mafah, the No. 222 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 41. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Taylor to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
