Larceny in pick 76 lands the Bears a A-, Johnson and all.

The board owed the Bears one, and it paid up: Kaleb Johnson, the No. 46 name on the board, sitting there at the 76th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
