The Cardinals worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Cardinals were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

However the rest shakes out, Wilson at that price is a win they earned. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. If McGregor pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
