Larceny in slot 144 lands the Patriots a B+, Wilson and all.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Jared Wilson, the No. 102 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick 144. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Adding A.J. Brown by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
