Whoever sat across the table from the Cowboys should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

They will need Hall to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. Taaffe falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
