Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Browns.

Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Browns to leave a draft.

However the rest shakes out, Foster at that price is a win they earned. They will need Rice to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They went 3 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

They paid up for Brenden Rice at slot 85 when waiting would have done the job. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick135 Rnd4 Javon Foster
Javon Foster slid further than he should have, and Round 4, Pick 35 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick155 Rnd5 Brennan Jackson
Good price on Brennan Jackson in the 155th pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
