You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They went 2 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
