Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Justin Rogers, the No. 193 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 225.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Reaching for Milton III left real value on the table behind him. The Goncalves pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, cornerback and other spots.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, with Jackson Powers-Johnson leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
