The Chiefs let Smith fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

You build a draft on nights like this. Ainias Smith had no business being available in Round 6, Pick 28, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Stover left real value on the table behind him.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
