The 49ers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick No. 232 on Kedon Slovis a full 82 spots early. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

On value alone, Jones makes the weekend a net positive. The 49ers indulged a want in Solomon while a need in interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots stayed open.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
