Call it larceny. Jordan Magee sat on the board until slot 222, and the Commanders did not need to be asked twice.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
