Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Panthers spent the 141st pick on Luke Lachey, a name most had 50 spots down the list. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Moore at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.
