A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Steelers would have aced it. Taulia Tagovailoa at pick 178 is 109 spots clear of where he belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

With interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Adding Josh Myers by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
