There is a lot to like until you notice tight end is still a hole. The Bengals never got to the one that mattered most. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Nwokobia pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
