You build a draft on nights like this. Jeffrey Bassa had no business being available in No. 211, and the Ravens did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. They will need Conner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
