The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Colts watched Brashard Smith slide 85 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Every board in the league had Dart lower, and that gap is the story. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
