You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bengals did exactly that with Luke McCaffrey in the 117th overall pick.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Dixon.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
