Nobody had Vincent Anthony Jr. this high, and it is not close. The Cowboys reached 116 spots to get him at the 112th overall pick. Call it a C+ and check back in two years.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Rodriguez at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

So much rides on Sonny Styles that the real verdict is a season or two away.
