The Patriots robbed the room for Skattebo. Final grade: B+.

You could see the war room lean forward. Cam Skattebo at the Round 7 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. If Dellinger pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

The DK Metcalf pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
