Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B
ValueA-
NeedA-
TradesB-
FutureB-
Reese should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a B. Every other box got a look, but edge rusher did not. The Seahawks will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
Getting Reese where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In the 32nd pick they get a green-dot type in the middle, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick64
Rnd2
Antonio Williams
They did well to land Antonio Williams in the 64th overall pick, just ahead of his grade. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
