The Cardinals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Brenen Thompson fell into the 104th overall pick. The bottom line is a respectable B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. They will need Moss to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
