The Bears won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: A-.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The Green pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Olumuyiwa Fashanu and all.
