Nobody else had Brian Ugwu anywhere near the 246th pick. The Eagles did, by 45 spots, and that gap is the whole story. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Milton III pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but cornerback.
