There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Vikings started one anyway for Boubacar Traore, 32 picks ahead of schedule. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Downs. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The back end got a real overhaul.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
