The Vikings fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Vikings took Thor Griffith a full 70 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Vikings indulged a want in Alexander while a need in quarterback stayed open. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Castro falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
