Mnftball2025 DRAFTING FOR THEVikings

Draft Grade — Vikings
Overall
B

FutureB-
The Vikings robbed the room for Bech. Final grade: B. The Vikings did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jack Bech fell into pick 90. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
Bowman Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Grey Zabel
In pick 26 they get a blindside protector, even if it was a touch early. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick90
Rnd3
Jack Bech
Somehow Jack Bech was still sitting there in slot 90, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick97
Rnd3
Billy Bowman Jr.
Billy Bowman Jr. in pick No. 97 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick139
Rnd5
Denzel Burke
You do not let a cornerback like Denzel Burke reach Round 5, Pick 1 and blink. They did not. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick166
Rnd5
Ollie Gordon II
They jumped the gun on Ollie Gordon II, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick187
Rnd6
Quincy Riley
A quiet steal in the 187th overall pick: Quincy Riley for less than the market said. They added to a strength when a need was still open elsewhere.
Pick236
Rnd7
Isaac TeSlaa
A clean, defensible pick in No. 236 with a little surplus value in Isaac TeSlaa. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick241
Rnd7
Thomas Fidone II
They went early on Thomas Fidone II in the 241st pick, and the value did not follow. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
